Who Am I

My name is Angeline Friese from Honolulu, Hawaii but many people call me Angie. Finishing up my major in Psychology and minoring in Global Perspectives. Holy Cross really prepares you for the real world. They require each graduating student to comple service learning, an internship, a global immersion trip, and lastly a senior capstone known as the Four pillars.
Growing up in Honolulu my parents always valued education and wanted nothing but the best for me. I graduated in 2008 from an all girls, catholic, college preparatory high school. After graduation I looked at many possibilities for college and I decided Holy Cross was the right choice for me.
Coming to Holy Cross from Hawaii it was quite intimidating. Upon my arrival at Holy Cross I was quickly greeted and felt like a part of the Holy Cross Family right away. With the 13:1 student faculty ratio I have benefited so much with the help of the professors. I am one of two students form Hawaii and its definitely a different world that from Hawaii. My time at Holy Cross I have joined the Saints Cheerleading team going into my third year with the squad. My last year I was part of the Women's Soccer team. I have also joined many of the clubs as well as the Hawaiian Club at Notre Dame.
My theme 'a'ole ha'aalele meaning never give up was something my dad always told me when I was down or I had no motivation to do anything. He continues to tell me this today, and without his motivation and belief in me I wouldnt be where I am today.
I look forward to sharing my experience here at Holy Cross throughout this efolio. Feel free to go through the tabs above to learn more. My capstone is scheduled for December 7th, 2012 at 4:30 pm. Again, Thank you for visiting my efolio page!
